A place prepared

exceeding imagination

What colors were mixed?

What forms took shape

in that creating-mind?

Humankind ascribes a standard born

of God or man’s intention.

My mother smiled.

In the throes of restless aging

a mind spent

One word the life’s foundation

and in that word my certainty.
